The exercise is part of advanced training aimed at enhancing combat readiness and interoperability of British forces before the deployment of the UK carrier strike group to the Pacific, scheduled for next year.

A crucial component of this operation was the 148th Commando Forward Observation Battery (Meiktila), part of the 29th Commando Regiment of the Royal Artillery.

This specialized unit was responsible for controlling the precision strikes carried out by the F-35 jets. Their fire support teams (FSTs) guided the airstrikes with surgical precision.

The FSTs, trained in parachuting and equipped with cutting-edge technology, played a significant role in the success of the operations demonstrated during the exercise.

Footage captured during Strike Warrior highlighted the firepower and precision of the UK’s most advanced military assets.
