The operation began with a smoke screen in the attack area, concealing the infantry and the Bradley’s advance from enemy surveillance equipment and anti-tank missile systems. Once visibility was blocked, the M2 Bradley advanced and unleashed heavy fire with its 25 mm M25 Bushmaster autocannon on a tree line used by the enemy for cover.
The Ukrainian assault group then disembarked from the Bradley and moved in a coordinated manner to occupy the enemy trenches. After completing the mission, the Bradley began its withdrawal.
During the return, a Russian FPV drone approached the vehicle but got stuck in an anti-drone net installed on the Bradley, preventing it from detonating and causing any damage to the armored vehicle. Shortly after, a missile struck the front of the combat vehicle, but the Bradley withstood the impact and kept moving.
The brigade commented on the incident: “The occupiers were a bit annoyed by this turn of events and attempted to knock out our Bradley, but fortunately, without success.” With the vehicle’s support, the assault team engaged the enemy in direct combat, cleared the area, and successfully took the position without any losses.
The operation was yet another testament to the Bradley’s resilience, highlighting the importance of anti-drone defenses and the vehicle’s robustness on the battlefield.
