Engine flexibility
Initially, the project foresaw the integration of the Russian VK-650 engine. However, the company decided to expand the helicopter’s compatibility to other models, including Rolls-Royce 250-C20, 250-C30, and 250-C47. According to UAVHELI, this flexibility aims to facilitate the entry of the SKY-TRUCK into the international market, allowing adaptation to different customer and regional requirements.
From oil platforms to logistics missions
The SKY-TRUCK was originally conceived to carry out deliveries to offshore oil extraction platforms. However, during development, engineers expanded its functionality, turning it into a versatile aircraft for a variety of cargo transport missions, both on land and at sea.
With the flight tests completed, Belarus positions itself to compete in a rapidly expanding sector: that of medium-sized unmanned aircraft dedicated to logistics transport.
