Turboprop model designed for initial pilot training, with high maneuverability and low operating cost
On August 12, the date marking the 113th anniversary of the creation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) released a test video of its new UTS-800 training aircraft.
The model is intended for the initial training, selection, and professional orientation of future pilots, combining high maneuverability with low operating cost.

Equipped with a turboprop engine, the UTS-800 also features ejection seats, a standard oxygen system, air conditioning, an anti-icing system, and other onboard equipment. During development, engineers prioritized simplicity, predictability, and operational safety.
Thanks to its aerodynamic characteristics, the aircraft fully meets the requirements for basic military pilot training.
