The UK government announced that it has already sent more than 85,000 military drones to Ukraine between April and October 2025 as part of a broad military support effort.
The target for the current fiscal year is to reach 100,000 delivered units.
The information was presented by Defence Minister Luke Pollard in response to questions from former Defence Secretary James Cartlidge. According to the minister, since July 2024 thousands of unmanned systems have also been ordered and received for the British armed forces themselves.
During a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group held in October 2025, the Defence Secretary confirmed that the British government invested $809 million over the year to accelerate the production and delivery of this equipment to Kyiv.
