Pearson Engineering announced a $2.01 million investment in the development of the MineWolf MW370 Next Generation, a new unmanned system designed for clearing landmines and routes.

The UK-based company officially unveiled the platform at the DIMDEX 2026 defense expo in Qatar, highlighting that the project builds on over 20 years of operational experience with the MineWolf family.

The new model represents a direct evolution of the original MW370, incorporating enhanced remote control technology, integrated automation, and additional survivability features. According to the manufacturer, the system is already available for orders and maintains certification for operational use, following deployment by international authorities, the UN, and most recently the UK Ministry of Defence in demining operations in Ukraine.

Improvements include reinforced ballistic protection, easier maintenance, and enhanced situational awareness. The unmanned vehicle can neutralize anti-personnel and anti-tank mines up to 15 kilograms, and operates with a new camera system that transmits real-time footage. The clearance rate can reach up to 4,500 square meters per hour, increasing efficiency in explosive-contaminated areas.

Controlled remotely via a mesh-enabled system, the MW370 Next Generation can operate up to 3,000 meters line-of-sight. For Pearson Engineering, the new generation MineWolf reinforces the company’s commitment to protecting humanitarian and military personnel, offering a solution that reduces human risk in one of the most hazardous scenarios of modern conflicts.
