The UkrArmoTech revealed its new light armored vehicle UAT-TISA during the international exhibition IDEX-2025, held in Abu Dhabi. The announcement was made by the company on its social media, including Facebook and Instagram.
The UAT-TISA is designed for multiple functions on the battlefield, including troop transport (with a capacity for four people, including two crew members), ammunition delivery, and carrying a load of up to one ton. Additionally, it can be used for low-risk tactical operations, rapid mobility, and agile team deployment.
Advanced armor and safety
The vehicle is based on the reinforced chassis of the TOYOTA LAND CRUISER LC79, modified with components enhanced by the UkrArmoTech team. The cabin is built as an armored capsule that protects the crew by separating them from the engine, transmission, and fuel tanks. Moreover, the seats are designed to preserve the lives of the occupants in the event of a mine explosion.
The armor of the UAT-TISA meets the level 1 standard of STANAG 4569, ensuring protection against 7.62×51 mm bullets at a distance of over 30 meters and against the detonation of a 155 mm artillery shell at 80 meters.
Autonomy and technological equipment
The vehicle has an autonomy of over 1,000 km on a single tank of fuel. Additionally, it features a snorkel for crossing flooded terrain, front and rear cameras with night vision, and a mounting system for electronic warfare systems.
Use by Ukrainian security forces
According to UkrArmoTech, by the end of 2025, units of the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service will receive the first units of the UAT-TISA. Furthermore, the company is developing a technical-operational version of the vehicle to meet the needs of the State Emergency Service.
