A Russian teenager died after being crushed by a part of a Ukrainian T-72 tank that is on display at a military equipment exhibition in Russia.

The incident was confirmed by the mayor of Yakutsk, Yevgeny Grigoriev. According to him, preliminary data indicates that the teenager was crushed by a heavy, moving metal part of the tank.

According to the investigation, the 16-year-old boy entered the tank through the lower hatch. After that, one of the parts of the combat vehicle fell on him. He did not survive the injuries.

The T-72 tank is on display at the Russia — My History multimedia park, which features various Ukrainian vehicles captured by the Russians during the invasion, according to The Moscow Times.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. In April last year, a 4-year-old Russian boy died at an exhibition in Komsomolsk-on-Amur after the ramp of an M113 armored personnel carrier opened and struck him on the head.
