Ukraine has developed the Salyut interceptor drone, a national system already successfully used to shoot down enemy drones, including the Shahed attack models.

Created by a team of engineers in direct collaboration with frontline units, the project took about two months from the start of the work to the first confirmed interceptions.

The development was based on real combat experience, with the team making adjustments directly near the front lines. During this period, essential components such as the control board were almost entirely redesigned to meet the military’s operational requirements, prioritizing simplicity, reliability, and speed in implementing improvements.

With a maximum speed of 320 km/h, a combat range of 20 km, and automatic target tracking capability, the Salyut also stands out for its integration with the sine.link system and stable mass production.

The drone is already listed in the closed catalog of the Brave1 marketplace, reinforcing Ukraine’s progress in developing its own air defense technologies.
