An FPV drone operated by the Ukrainian “Achilles” unit, part of the 429th Unmanned Systems Regiment, destroyed a North Korean-made Type 75 multiple rocket launcher.

The attack took place near the village of Lyman Pershyi, in the Kharkiv region, and was confirmed by the unit’s commander on social media. Released footage suggests the use of a fiber-optic guided drone due to the stable low-altitude flight over a forested area.

The drone struck the launcher’s rails directly, and the system was loaded with at least four rockets. One of the projectiles was fired after the impact, resulting in an explosion. This is the second publicly confirmed destruction of a Type 75 in Ukraine, with the first occurring on July 12 in Kupiansk, also by Ukrainian drones.

The Type 75 is a North Korean copy of the Chinese Type 63 system, with towed or self-propelled variants that can hold up to 27 launch tubes. The weapon uses fragmentation or submunition rockets and has a maximum range of 8.6 kilometers.
