The Ukrainian company Qirim Tech has announced the development of sectional airless wheels designed for use on military equipment.
The technology completely eliminates the risk of punctures, a factor considered critical in operational and combat scenarios.
According to the company, the wheels are designed to ensure high performance across different types of terrain, including marshy areas, sand, farmland, and rocky surfaces. Made from raw vulcanized rubber, they promise greater durability and mobility for military vehicles and unmanned systems.
The product can be applied to various platforms, ranging from ground robots to vehicles such as Humvees and armored personnel carriers.
Still in prototype testing, the solution comes in different sizes, and the company says it is seeking investors to advance its development.
