Ukrainian Armor has launched the Krechet, a command and control vehicle based on the Novator 2 armored vehicle, designed to coordinate air defense systems at the tactical level.
The vehicle integrates digital radars, mobile firing groups, and night detection devices into a single network, allowing for the automatic management of up to 10 targets simultaneously and tracking up to 250 within a 300 km radius.
The Krechet maintains the mobility and protection of the original Novator, resistant to small arms fire and equipped with armor against high-explosive mines, ensuring safety for the operators.
With seats for three crew members and advanced aerial surveillance, the vehicle can be deployed in just 10 minutes and operate autonomously 24 hours a day.
According to Vladyslav Belbas, CEO of Ukrainian Armor, the project emerged from the military demand in response to the constant threat of missile and drone attacks. The company had previously presented a medical evacuation version of the Novator 2, used by the National Guard combat brigades, reinforcing the versatility of the platform.
