Ukraine’s defense industry has announced the development of the UB82D drone, a new model equipped with an integrated 82 mm mine and already cleared for use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The equipment was designed to operate without the need for additional systems, combining control and warhead in a single compact platform.

Built on a 10-inch frame, the UB82D can reach speeds of up to 140 km/h and has an operational range of 25 kilometers. According to manufacturer Ukrainian Armor, the goal is to expand troops’ firepower while maintaining operational simplicity and rapid deployment on the battlefield.

The new drone follows the concept of the UB60D, an earlier version equipped with a 60 mm mine that is already in operation with Ukrainian military personnel. Despite using a larger warhead, the UB82D maintains the same philosophy of practical use and mobility, offering greater range and destructive capability.

The company also highlighted the use of the TFL-1 autonomous system, developed by Fourth Law, which is capable of automatically identifying and tracking targets. The technology allows the drone to continue the attack even after total loss of communication with the operator in the final moments of the mission.
