In the early hours of May 28, Ukrainian drones attacked a factory belonging to the Russian company Kronshtadt, located in Dubna, in the Moscow region.

The facility is known for producing military drones, such as the Orion model, used in the war against Ukraine. Residents reported that this was the third attack on the site, and videos of the event are circulating on Telegram channels.

During the attack, gunfire was exchanged as Russian forces attempted to shoot down Liutyi drones that still posed a threat to the area.

Kronshtadt is a Russian company specializing in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their technologies, with over 15 years of experience in the sector.

In addition to the attack in Dubna, other explosions were reported in cities across the Moscow region that same night. As a safety measure, airports such as Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky temporarily suspended operations. According to the mayor of Moscow, air defense systems shot down 33 drones headed toward the capital.

Two days earlier, on May 26, another drone attack hit a chemical plant in the Ivanovo region, used for rocket engine production.
