Ukraine and France are working on the transfer of additional Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets, along with the supply of missiles for French-made air defense systems.
The information was announced by Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov following a meeting with his French counterpart, Catherine Vautrin.
According to Fedorov, Kyiv is counting on the delivery of French-manufactured munitions for the SAMP/T and Crotale air defense systems, in addition to long-range weapons whose specific types have not been officially detailed. Among the possibilities mentioned are SCALP missiles and munitions for the LRU, the European version of the M270A1.
