Ukraine has unveiled a new interceptor drone designed to neutralize Russian attack drones, such as the Shahed and Gerbera models.
Developed by local engineers, the equipment is capable of operating at night and at high speed, detecting and destroying aerial threats before they approach populated areas or strategic infrastructure.
The project was designed to respond to the tactics used by the Shahed-136, increasing the effectiveness of interceptions even in adverse conditions. According to the developers, an automated guidance system is being implemented, which will reduce the need for operators and make the process faster and more precise.
Additionally, the Ukrainian group Wild Hornets created a copter-type interceptor drone capable of reaching up to 11 kilometers in altitude.
These innovations strengthen the country’s air defense and demonstrate that Ukraine is not only seeking to protect itself but also to maintain a technological advantage in certain aspects of modern combat.
