Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces intensified their actions against Russian air defenses by destroying a 9S19 Imbir radar in the Luhansk region and striking a Tor-M2 system in Donetsk.
The operations took place on March 31 in occupied areas and were carried out by operators of the 414th Separate Brigade, according to commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.
Released footage shows FP-2 drones directly attacking the radar, which is part of the S-300V system and is capable of detecting different types of missiles and aerial targets at long ranges. The recordings indicate multiple passes over the target to confirm the impact, suggesting the equipment was completely destroyed.
In addition, a unit known as the Birds of Madyar carried out an attack on a Tor-M2 system used by Russian forces to protect strategic positions. This type of system can track multiple targets simultaneously and is widely used to intercept drones and missiles, as well as defend critical areas on the battlefield.
According to Brovdi, in March 2026 alone, Ukrainian operators struck 41 elements of Russian air defense. Recent actions also include an attack on a Buk-M3 system launcher in Luhansk and the neutralization of two Tor systems in occupied territories, highlighting the ongoing effort to weaken Russia’s defensive capabilities.
