The TWR Supercat is a modern recreation of the classic Jaguar XJS, featuring a carbon fiber design and a supercharged V12 engine promising over 600 HP.

This is the first project of the new TWR, now under the leadership of Fergus Walkinshaw, son of Tom Walkinshaw, co-founder of the original TWR.

The Supercat is an updated approach to the Jaguar XJS grand tourer, which will turn 50 in 2025, and marks the return of TWR as a bespoke car-building company.

With 88 units planned, the Supercat pays homage to TWR’s success in the 1980s and 1990s, especially with cars like the XJR-9 and XJR-15 in competitions like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the world’s most prestigious auto races.

The new TWR brings an experienced team with professionals from companies like McLaren, Ferrari, Porsche, and Formula 1 teams like Mercedes and Renault. The Supercat’s design, in addition to its power, makes the car lighter and stronger, thanks to carbon fiber panels.

The price of the TWR Supercat can exceed $337,000 in the UK, and its launch is scheduled for the summer of 2024, likely at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
