Toyota has transformed the front seat of the Crown sedan into a luxury office chair featuring heating, ventilation and power adjustments.

The Crown Seat Desk Chair was developed by Toyota Boshoku in partnership with Japanese furniture manufacturer Itoki and will be sold as a limited edition in Japan, according to information from Car and Driver.

The chair uses practically the same seat found in the Toyota Crown, retaining all functions such as power reclining, height adjustment, lumbar support and seat tilt.

The model also features a three-level heating and cooling system, powered by an integrated rechargeable battery, making it ideal for gamers who spend hours playing late at night.

One of the most curious details of the project is that the seat belt buckle was kept, but since there is no need to protect against a potential crash, it was turned into a USB-C port for charging devices.

According to Toyota Boshoku, only 70 units will be produced, with a price equivalent to around $3,500. Sales will be carried out exclusively through the Japanese THE CROWN network, which specializes in the Crown line.
