Toyota has announced the A90 Final Edition, a special farewell version of the Supra, limited to 300 units, focused on performance for Europe and Japan.
Although many expected Toyota to use BMW’s S58 engine, the model retains the B58, but with a significant power increase, from 382 hp to 429 hp and torque rising from 500 Nm to 570 Nm. This performance boost is particularly noticeable when compared to the European model, where the power was limited to 335 hp due to stricter environmental regulations.
The A90 Final Edition comes with substantial upgrades, such as larger Brembo brakes, adjustable KW suspension, and a titanium Akrapovič exhaust muffler, enhancing both performance and engine sound. The model is also equipped with lightweight 19- and 20-inch wheels and wider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Inside, it features Recaro carbon fiber seats, red seatbelts, Alcantara trims, and adjustments to the electric steering and camber angle to improve grip.
Additionally, Toyota is releasing a revised version of the Supra 3.0, called the Lightweight Evo, which will include improvements such as stronger Brembo brakes and a carbon fiber rear spoiler. The production of the current Supra generation, assembled at Magna Steyr’s factory in Graz, Austria, is coming to an end, but Toyota is already hinting at a sixth-generation model for the future, fueling fan expectations.
