The Toyota Land Cruiser ROX is a conceptual version of the hybrid off-road SUV that will be showcased at the SEMA Show.

With a bold design and a sliding fabric convertible top, the ROX features a four-inch lift and a wider stance, with extended rails by eight inches.

Additionally, the design includes robust fender flares, a roof rack with three bars, and seven auxiliary lights, bringing an aesthetic that recalls the classic Land Cruiser models.

Developed by the Calty Design Research team, the ROX concept was created from the 2024 model of the Land Cruiser, but more than half of the vehicle has been modified. The open rear has been transformed into a pickup bed, while the upper structure has received a more rugged look, featuring lattice-style pillars and Molle panels to accommodate adventure gear.

The roof bars include forward-facing auxiliary lights, and a “midgate” allows direct access from the cabin to the bed, facilitating the transport of long items and offering integrated seating in the tailgate.

Inside, the ROX features custom details like 3D-printed step plates, vibrant orange leather, and storage nets in the doors for personal items. The Spring Green body color references classic Land Cruisers, while the steel bumpers, red tow hooks, and vegetation protectors highlight its off-road capabilities.

Although Toyota does not yet plan to launch the ROX as a production model, the concept signals the brand’s interest in exploring special editions and bold variations for the Land Cruiser in the future.
