A resident who forgot to close the garage gate of his home had his speedboat stolen by thieves who fled on foot with the vessel in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The incident took place in the Dona Zulmira neighborhood, in Uberlândia, last Saturday (14), according to a report by the Brazilian outlet g1. The resident, who chose not to be identified, explained that the theft happened after he forgot to close his garage gate.
The robbery occurred while he was inside the house taking a shower. Footage from the home’s security cameras showed the moment the thieves appeared, grabbed the watercraft, and ran away on foot. The entire action lasted less than one minute.
The police report includes witness statements saying the thieves had the help of a car, which does not appear in the footage, to escape. So far, none of those involved have been identified or arrested.
