Belarus showcased the unmanned helicopter SKY-TRUCK during the international arms fair MILEX-2025.

The model, developed by the company Unmanned Helicopters, was flight-tested equipped with Rolls-Royce 250 engines, manufactured in the United States and subject to sanctions prohibiting their export to Minsk. The test video was released by the manufacturer itself on social media.

Originally designed to operate with Russian VK-650V engines, the drone was adapted to receive British powerplants. The Rolls-Royce M250 engines, produced in North America, are widely used in helicopters such as the Bell 206 and MD 500, which draws attention given the restrictions imposed by the US and UK on the transfer of military technology and equipment to Belarus.

With a coaxial design, the SKY-TRUCK weighs up to 2.35 tons, achieves a range of 480 km, and stays in the air for up to 4 hours, capable of carrying up to 600 kg of cargo in a compartment installed under the fuselage.

The project, initially conceived to supply offshore oil platforms, evolved into a multifunctional vehicle capable of fulfilling various logistical and operational missions.
