The United Kingdom has signed a $38.7 million contract with the defense technology company Anduril UK to supply advanced attack drones to Ukraine.

The agreement, supported by the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU), includes the supply of Altius 600m and 700m drones, known as munitions that stay in the air, designed to monitor and strike enemy targets. This support is part of the United Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression.

The UK government reaffirmed its support for Ukraine after a recent meeting of world leaders in London, highlighting the importance of military assistance to ensure lasting peace in the country.

In addition to over 10,000 drones sent to Ukraine, the United Kingdom has also provided loans and air defense missiles, totaling billions of pounds in assistance. Anduril UK, which has expanded its presence in the UK, plays a crucial role in delivering these technologies.

Defense Minister John Healey visited Anduril’s facility in Washington D.C. and reinforced the UK’s intent to strengthen national security and protect its allies. The work with Anduril UK is led by the Ministry of Defence’s Equipment and Support Department, with the IFU, which now has contributions from several countries, including $645 million from the UK. The collaboration aims to ensure that Ukraine has the necessary tools to prevent any further Russian aggression.
