The United States authorized a potential military sale to Poland worth US$ 780 million, involving Javelin missile systems.
The package includes more than 2,500 FGM-148F missiles, 253 launch units, simulation munitions, spare parts, maintenance kits, as well as training, technical assistance, and transportation.
The deal was notified to the U.S. Congress on September 18, 2025, by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).
According to the agency, the acquisition strengthens Poland’s security, considered a key NATO ally, by modernizing existing equipment and expanding the country’s military stockpile. The measure also contributes to the political and economic stability of Europe without altering the basic military balance in the region.
The main suppliers for the contract are RTX Corporation, based in Virginia, and Lockheed Martin, based in Arizona. There are no provisions for industrial compensation in the agreement, which will be addressed directly between Poland and the companies.
According to DSCA, the implementation of the delivery will not require the additional presence of U.S. troops.
