As it prepares to launch the second generation of the GLB in early December, Mercedes-Benz has already shared some impressive details about the interior of the new vehicle.
To get fans excited for the upcoming release, Mercedes has revealed what the interior of the new car will look like. From the images, it’s clear that the redesigned GLB adopts a triple-screen layout.
Mercedes has not disclosed the screen sizes, but it appears that the vehicle will feature a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and two 14-inch touchscreens on a “floating” center console — a setup similar to that of the CLA.
It’s worth noting that the MBUX Superscreen configuration will be optional, as the base versions of the new GLB will not include the passenger-side display. The “starry sky” effect on the panoramic glass roof, with illuminated stars, will also be an extra-cost option.

For those who opt for this feature — also available on the CLA — simply selecting the option on the infotainment screen transforms the car’s roof into a night sky full of shining stars.
The car will be officially unveiled by Mercedes on December 8, when the German manufacturer is expected to share more information about the new GLB’s specifications.
However, as with the other details mentioned above, the GLB is expected to share further similarities with the CLA, including its electric variants with one or two motors, as well as a mild-hybrid configuration based on a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder “M252” engine.
