The Netherlands announced an investment of $756 million in drone production, part of which will be allocated to strengthen Ukraine’s defense.

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof discussed this initiative with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, reaffirming the country’s ongoing commitment to providing political, military, and financial support to Ukraine. Additionally, they talked about coordinating with international partners and developing a plan for a just peace.

Since the start of the Russian invasion, the Netherlands has already provided around 6 billion euros in military aid, including F-16 fighters, drones, air defense systems, ammunition, and various equipment.

The country has also sent troops to assist in training Ukrainian soldiers in Germany and the United Kingdom. In 2024, 255 military personnel were deployed to Germany, and 350 to the UK, reinforcing training missions.

In addition to these efforts, the Dutch government confirmed the delivery of 25 YPR-765 armored vehicles to Ukrainian forces. This measure was announced by Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans during a recent meeting of the Ukraine Allies group.

The Dutch support, which also includes medical supplies and food, demonstrates a continued commitment to strengthening Ukraine’s resistance against the Russian invasion.
