UP.FIT, the division of Unplugged Performance, announced it will modify the vehicle to include lights, sirens, radios, and an optional front push bar. The company already has experience in adapting other Tesla models like the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X for police functions.

Orders are already open, and the expectation is for the first patrol vehicles to be on the streets soon.

The modified Cybertruck will feature additional equipment such as spotlights, a PA system, and enhancements to radio and computer systems. Additionally, it can be equipped for tactical, military, and search and rescue operations, with options like prisoner partitions, weapon storage, and dog compartments.

Due to its stainless steel exoskeleton, the Cybertruck can withstand small arms fire, and the vehicle’s driver assistance makes it easy to drive, making it an effective choice for police patrols. The company stated that it is already accepting orders.
