Tense Video: Police Take Drastic Measures to End Chase in the United States

A patrol car camera captured a police officer executing a dramatic maneuver to end a van chase in Arkansas. The incident occurred on February 7 on an interstate highway.

According to statements from officials in the city of Tontitown, the van had been stolen by two 21-year-old men, Robert Mercier and Trenton Johnson. The pair managed to damage four police cars during the escape.

The van was traveling at 90km/h when it was intercepted by the Arkansas State Police. After the apprehension, firearms and Molotov cocktails were found inside the vehicle.

The officer who performed the tactical maneuver suffered minor injuries.

The two criminals were charged with a series of crimes, including assault, criminal association, possession of destructive devices, and fleeing from a serious crime.

The duo was also wanted in the state of Michigan for assaulting police officers.
