A 40-year-old woman fell from the top of a cliff in the early hours of Wednesday (5), in Tibau do Sul, state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The driver was rescued alive.
The victim was alone and outside the vehicle, which was being dragged by the tide. The car is a silver Polo model and fell from a height of 20 meters, according to the Fire Department.

“We accessed the victim, saw that she was awake but a little disoriented. We managed to send materials over the cliff, immobilized her, wrapped her in a thermal blanket, and managed to remove her through the same place we used to access the beach, through the side of the cliff”, said a Fire Department official.
The rescue was called by people who were sleeping in motorhomes near the accident site.
