A 40-year-old woman fell from the top of a cliff early Wednesday morning (5th), in Tibau do Sul, state of Rio Grande do Norte, in Brazil. The driver was rescued alive.
The victim was alone and outside the vehicle that was being dragged by the tide. The car is a silver Polo model and fell from a height of 20 meters, according to the Fire Department.
“We reached the victim, saw that she was awake, but a bit disoriented. We managed to send the materials over the cliff, performed immobilization, wrapped her in a thermal blanket, and managed to remove her through the same place we used to access the beach, along the side of the cliff,” reported a Fire Department officer.
The rescue was initiated by people who were sleeping in motorhomes near the accident site.
