Taurus introduced the Tactical Air Soldier (TAS), a four-rotor drone equipped with the T4 rifle and adaptable to carry other weapons, including machine guns, during LAAD 2025, the largest defense and security fair in Latin America.

Designed for short-range military and police operations, the equipment aims to reduce the exposure of troops in combat.

Inspired by the use of drones in conflicts like the one in Ukraine, the TAS can fire at vehicles and fortifications, as well as defend against missiles and enemy aircraft.

The drone features advanced technology to ease its remote control, including a stabilized 4K camera, navigation sensors, and artificial intelligence for target identification. With a system that allows precise targeting and real-time image transmission, Taurus suggests that the TAS could replace helicopters in some missions, minimizing human risks and material damage.

Despite the presentation, details such as price and flight autonomy have not yet been disclosed.
