Expansion in Aerospace and Defense
TASL has already secured its position in the global aerospace market through a partnership with Airbus for the production of the C-295 medium transport aircraft in India for the Indian Air Force. Additionally, it supplies key components to various international manufacturers.
Company sources indicate that the LAMV can be configured according to the specific needs of different countries, offering customized versions to meet varying security and operational requirements.
Capabilities and Versions of the LAMV
Designed for air transportability, the LAMV is available in two distinct versions:
– Reconnaissance configuration: Accommodates the driver and three crew members, along with specialized equipment.
– Extended version: Designed for troop transport, capable of carrying up to 11 passengers.
The vehicle is built for efficient operation in desert and mountainous terrains and can reach a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
Ballistic Protection and Target Markets
The LAMV features “STANAG Level 3” ballistic protection, ensuring safety against 7.62×51 mm armor-piercing ammunition at a distance of 30 meters and fragments from 155 mm artillery shells at a distance of 60 meters.
TASL has identified the United Kingdom, the Middle East, North Africa, and Latin America as target markets for its new armored vehicle, aiming to expand its influence in the sector.
