The American company Lockheed Martin proposed a highly modified and advanced version of the F-16 named F-21 for the Indian Air Force (#IAF), to be produced in India in partnership with TATA Aerospace.

The F-21 is essentially a variant derived from the F-16 Fighting Falcon, one of the world’s most renowned fighter jets, with unique Indian avionics and specifications. Moreover, Lockheed Martin has pledged to manufacture the projected 114 aircraft in the country with its local partner, Tata, an industrial giant.
