Op dinsdagavond (18e) voerde de Israëlische luchtmacht een van de grootste luchtoperaties van de afgelopen jaren uit tegen strategische doelen in Iran. Volgens militaire bronnen namen 40 gevechtsvliegtuigen deel aan de operatie en werden er meer dan 100 precisiewapens afgevuurd op tientallen militaire doelen in Teheran en andere regio’s van het land.
