Stunt Rider Dies After Serious Accident at Amusement Park Show in Brazil

A motorcyclist died after suffering a serious accident while performing at the Hot Wheels Epic Show at Beto Carrero World, an amusement park in Santa Catarina, southern Brazil.

According to a video shared on social media, the accident occurred last Sunday (23) when the rider attempted to jump a ramp but ended up crashing into an obstacle.

Lurrique Ferrari, 36, was attended to immediately and taken to the hospital, according to a statement from the park. Unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries.

“In this moment of indescribable pain, we express our solidarity, respect, and condolences to the family, friends, and team members,” said Beto Carrero World in a statement.

Ferrari had been working as a stunt rider for several years. On his social media, he shared numerous records of his stunts and performances. In the statement, the park mentioned that his peers admired him “for the passion with which he performed his work.”
