The Japanese brand occupies the top five positions on the list of vehicles with the longest lifespan, with models like the Tundra, Sequoia, 4Runner, Tacoma, and Highlander Hybrid leading the way. The Tundra, in particular, has a 36.6% chance of reaching this mileage, far above the average of 8.6% for vehicles in general.

In addition to the top five, other Toyota models, such as the Avalon and Lexus GX, also stand out in the top 10, representing 70% of the most durable vehicles on the market.

As a brand, Toyota has a 17% chance of any of its vehicles reaching 400,000 kilometers, which is double the industry average. Honda ranks second with 13.6%, and Ram is the highest-ranked American brand with 11.5%.

The study also considered heavy truck models separately due to their distinct usage characteristics. In this segment, the Ram 3500 stood out with a 42.6% chance of reaching 400,000 kilometers, being the only segment where Toyota does not lead.
