Škoda has confirmed the arrival of the new Peaq for mid-2026 as its new flagship electric SUV .

Based on the Vision 7S concept and built on the MEB platform, the model will be the largest and most spacious vehicle in the brand’s current portfolio, with seating for up to seven occupants, a range exceeding 600 kilometers, and a focus on comfort, technology, and family use.

Produced in Mladá Boleslav, in the Czech Republic, the Peaq will play a strategic role in expanding the manufacturer’s electric lineup. According to the company, the model will be one of the pillars of an offensive aimed at doubling Škoda’s 100% electric vehicle portfolio by 2026.

Measuring nearly 4.9 meters in length, 1.7 meters in height, and with a wheelbase of 2,965 mm, the SUV leverages generous dimensions to deliver more interior space. The trunk capacity ranges from 299 liters with all seven seats in use to 890 liters with the third row folded. The model will also feature an additional front storage compartment, the frunk, with 37 liters of capacity.

In terms of design, the Peaq adopts the Modern Solid design language, highlighted by the illuminated TechDeck Face front, Matrix LED headlights, aerodynamic wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches, and an electrochromic panoramic roof divided into nine segments. The goal is to strengthen the brand’s visual identity in an increasingly competitive large electric SUV segment.

The cabin will offer five trim options, including versions with recycled materials and configurations free of animal-derived components. Among the comfort highlights is the so-called Relax Package, which includes ergonomic seats with massage function, leg support, a foldable table, and a wellness app with modes dedicated to relaxation, stretching, and re-energizing. The premium sound system developed in partnership with Sonos will also be a key feature of the model.

On the mechanical side, the Škoda Peaq will be offered in three powertrain variants: 60, 90, and 90x, with power ranging from 150 kW to 220 kW. The 90 and 90x versions will deliver a range above 600 km, while DC fast charging will allow the battery to go from 10% to 80% in 28 minutes. In the 60 version, the same process can be completed in 27 minutes. The 90x variant, with all-wheel drive, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.

The new SUV also introduces features not previously seen in the brand, such as integrated retractable door handles, a new digital key compatible with smartphones and smartwatches, an Android-based infotainment system with a 13.6-inch vertical screen, a 10-inch driver display, and the option of an augmented reality head-up display.

With the Peaq, Škoda strengthens its presence in the family electric SUV segment, offering a package that combines ample interior space, long range, comfort solutions, and new technologies for everyday use.
