A shocking video captured the moment a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck drove over a Lamborghini worth $250,000 in the parking lot of a shopping center in Florida (USA).
Ramon Ferrer, the owner of the Lambo, was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. He said he is grateful to be alive after the pickup completely destroyed the front of his car.
Speaking to WESH, Ferrer said the pickup driver was exceeding the speed limit for the parking lot. He explained that he tried to reverse when he saw her approaching but couldn’t get away in time.
Ferrer said he believes the driver of the Silverado didn’t even see his Lamborghini before driving over it. After being hit, he quickly got out of the car and, fortunately, was unharmed.
“The only thing that really saved me was God, of course, 100%, but another thing was that her axle got stuck in my windshield pillar. Otherwise, she would have completely crushed me. It would have been a nightmare. I wouldn’t be here right now, which is kind of crazy,” Ferrer told WESH.
Despite being grateful he didn’t suffer any serious injuries, Ferrer admitted he was heartbroken to see his beloved car completely destroyed after only five months. The vehicle is now in a repair shop.
Meanwhile, Ferrer is still wondering what happened to the pickup driver. Her identity has not yet been revealed, and it’s unclear whether she received a ticket.
“I don’t know how you can [not see] an entire car. I mean, yeah, I’m probably a bit down because it’s a Lamborghini, but still, how can you [not see] a car?” he said.
