Shelby American has introduced the Super Snake 2024, a super-powerful version of the Mustang based on the S650 model.

Limited to 250 units, the Super Snake comes with a 5.0-liter V-8 Coyote engine in two versions: one with 480 HP, standard in the Mustang GT, and another with 830 HP, thanks to a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger.

In addition to the power increase, the car features a redesigned suspension, exclusive wheels, Borla exhaust, stronger brakes, an enhanced cooling system, and choices of manual or automatic transmission.

To reduce weight and enhance performance, Shelby American made some modifications to the Mustang’s structure. The Super Snake gained a new aluminum hood, carbon fiber front fenders, and a new design for the front end and sills. These changes significantly decreased the vehicle’s weight, contributing to better overall performance.

Internally, the changes are subtle, with Shelby logos replacing the traditional Ford or Mustang logos. A special detail is that models with manual transmission have an exclusive Shelby shifter.

Shelby American has not yet announced the price of the Super Snake 2024 but confirmed that production will begin in the summer, with only 250 units planned for the 2024 model year.
