Shelby American has brought back the legendary GT350 name with two new models: the GT350 and GT350R, both equipped with 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engines.
The GT350 produces 810 horsepower, while the track-focused GT350R exceeds 830 horsepower. Both feature an aggressive design, revised suspension, and a range of performance upgrades, including a large rear spoiler and a new exhaust system.
The GT350 will also be available in a version without the supercharger, producing 480 horsepower, and will offer both manual and automatic transmission options.
The GT350R, designed to be a track car legalized for the streets, includes high-performance elements such as an integrated roll cage, adjustable suspension, enhanced brakes, and carbon fiber components, including optional seats. Some of these parts will be used in a future race car for the Trans Am series, slated for 2026.
Only 36 units of the GT350R will be produced, all in white paint with customization options for different stripes and graphics.
With production limited to 562 units in 2025, the GT350 will have a starting price of $109,999 and will be sold at selected Ford dealerships, with a Ford powertrain warranty and an additional Shelby American warranty. Production will begin in the second quarter of 2025, and the GT350R will be produced on a smaller scale by Turn Key Automotive/Motorsports, with prices yet to be revealed.
This new generation of the GT350 celebrates the legacy of Carroll Shelby, maintaining the spirit of high performance and exclusivity.
