Shelby American has unveiled the 2024 Super Snake, the latest high-performance Mustang with 830 horsepower, marking its debut on Ford’s S650 platform.
This extreme model offers two engine options: a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8 Coyote with 480 hp or a supercharged version of this engine producing 830 hp. Besides the powerful drivetrain, the Super Snake has received upgrades in suspension for sharper cornering response, a high-flow Borla exhaust, reinforced brakes, and enhanced cooling.
Visually, the car features 20-inch forged magnesium wheels, wide carbon fiber front fenders, and an optional carbon rear spoiler for the fastback model.
Inside, the Super Snake boasts distinctive Shelby touches such as embroidered seats and carpets, cobra-themed puddle lights, and Super Snake door sills. There is also an option for a six-speed manual transmission, which includes a short-throw shifter and a one-piece driveshaft.
The production of the model will be limited to just 250 units for the year, and each car will come with a 3-year warranty and about 57,900 kilometers, maintaining the original Ford powertrain warranty intact. The price has not yet been disclosed.
