Scout Motors returns after 44 years with two new electric vehicles designed for trails: the Traveler SUV and the Terra pickup, inspired by classic models from International Harvester.

Both vehicles utilize a body-on-frame platform and are geared towards off-road capabilities, featuring a gasoline generator option (Harvester) that extends the range to over 800 kilometers, while the electric battery offers up to 560 km. Scout estimates that these vehicles can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, thanks to impressive torque.

Designed for tough terrains, Scout’s new models support tires up to 35 inches, have more than 30 centimeters of ground clearance, and can cross nearly 90 cm of water. The Terra pickup can tow up to 4,500 kilograms, while the Traveler SUV can handle up to 3,100 kg, with both supporting around 900 kg of payload.

The vehicles come equipped with robust features like front stabilizer bar disconnect, mechanical locks, and a solid rear axle, as well as 800-volt fast charging capability of up to 350 kilowatts.

Internally, Scout revisits classic design, with a central screen and touch controls, inspired by the original Scout II. The Terra features a 1.6-meter bed with 120 and 240-volt outlets, while the Traveler includes an integrated spare tire mount.

Reservations are already open for $100, with the Traveler starting at $50,000 and the Terra at $51,500, with production set to begin in 2027.
