A scary video recorded last Sunday (26) by the Wheat Ridge police in the state of Colorado showed an officer finding a rattlesnake inside a car during a drug search and seizure operation.

While an officer was searching a car that had been spotted with “drug paraphernalia”, a rattlesnake was found in the back seat, along with drugs and a weapon.
The video was recorded by a body camera worn by a Wheat Ridge police officer. “Hey, do you have a rattlesnake here?”, asked the incredulous officer. “Are you serious?”, replied the vehicle owner, also surprised.
According to the police, the owner had lent the car to a friend who was supposed to pick it up at the location. According to police information, the car owner will not be charged, but the officers are looking for the friend for questioning.
“You can imagine the shock of our officer. It’s a good example of how you need to be prepared for anything in this job, including snake charming”, Wheat Ridge police said in a statement.
