The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), part of the Rostec State Corporation, has released a video of the demonstration flight of the Il-114-300 regional turboprop aircraft carried out in India.
The aircraft took off from Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, where the international aviation exhibition Wings India is being held.
The flight followed a circuit profile, lasting more than one hour, covering over 500 kilometers and reaching a maximum speed of up to 425 km/h.

According to UAC, the flight was comparable to a typical regional operation, clearly demonstrating the efficiency of the Il-114-300 in missions aimed at developing local air connections. The model was designed to operate autonomously from small aerodromes, including those with limited infrastructure, as well as from short runways.
As a result of the embargo imposed after the start of the war in Ukraine, several components of the Il-114-300 that were originally of foreign origin have been replaced with Russian-made systems and parts. This adaptation is part of the program’s localization effort, while maintaining the schedule of tests and international presentations.

The Il-114-300 is certified to operate in a wide range of climatic conditions, from Arctic regions and the harsh areas of Siberia to mountainous zones and tropical, subtropical, and hot climates — a feature that expands its potential use in emerging markets and on hard-to-access regional routes.
The Wings India exhibition takes place in Hyderabad from January 28 to 31, bringing together manufacturers, airlines, and authorities from the international aviation sector.
