According to official information, the Krasnoyarsk nuclear-powered cruise missile submarine conducted a covert transition to a designated area in the Pacific, from where it launched the Kalibr cruise missile towards a coastal target at the Kura test range on the Kamchatka Peninsula. The missile struck the target with precision, covering a distance of over 1,100 km.

In the second phase of the exercise, the submarine carried out a search for a simulated enemy submarine, using an anti-submarine missile-torpedo. According to objective monitoring, the torpedo warhead successfully hit the simulated underwater target.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Alexander Moiseev, congratulated the Krasnoyarsk crew for the successful execution of missile and torpedo launches.
