Russia has unveiled a new lineup of off-road vehicles designed for airborne troops, aiming to replace older models and reduce reliance on foreign equipment.

Among the highlights is the Plastun series, developed to meet the modern demands of airborne forces.

The vehicles were showcased during a military exhibition at the Alabino training ground, which brought together more than 80 companies from the defense sector. The manufacturer’s goal is to offer a more efficient alternative to the traditional UAZ-452 Bukhanka as well as imported vehicles, particularly those of Chinese origin.

One of the key models presented is the TT tactical transporter, designed to operate in combat zones for transporting soldiers, wounded personnel, and supplies. The vehicle uses an articulated chassis, improving mobility on difficult terrain and reducing the risk of structural instability.

In addition, the design includes light armor with aluminum panels, a hydropneumatic steering system that allows chassis tilting, and a versatile rear compartment. This space can be adapted for different missions, including logistical support and the installation of weapon systems aimed at countering drones.
