The Yars is a Russian mobile and silo-based intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) system, developed to replace the older R-36 and UR-100N missile systems.
It is capable of carrying nuclear warheads and was designed to overcome missile defense systems. It entered service in 2010, and is part of Russia’s efforts to modernize its strategic nuclear forces.

The Yars can be launched from mobile platforms, which increases its survivability against a first strike, making it a central piece of Russia’s nuclear deterrence strategy.

According to the video:

The Yars PGRK launchers have arrived in Alabino, near Moscow, to prepare for the military parade in Red Square
In preparation for the parade, a mechanized column of autonomous launchers of the Yars mobile ground missile system marched from a permanent deployment point in the Ivanovo region to Alabino, near Moscow.

The 400-kilometer route went through the transport highways of three regions (Ivanovo, Vladimir, Moscow), including the M7 federal highway and the Moscow ring road.

Along the route, the mechanics driving the three autonomous launchers made stops for routine inspections and control of large equipment.

The personnel and equipment of the Teikovsky missile formation have been participating in military parades in Moscow’s Red Square since 2008.
