Canadian manufacturer Roshel has announced the expansion of its armored vehicle lineup with a new MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) model, a category designed to withstand landmines and attacks involving improvised explosive devices.

According to information published by Defence Blog, the new vehicle was unveiled during CANSEC 2026, one of Canada’s leading defense exhibitions.

The Admiral MRAP is part of Roshel’s strategy to broaden its military platform portfolio following growing global demand for armored vehicles intended for high-intensity conflicts. The company has gained international attention in recent years for supplying hundreds of vehicles to Ukraine.

Roshel’s MRAP models use a V-shaped hull designed to deflect the shockwave from explosions and improve crew survivability during mine and IED attacks. The vehicles also feature reinforced suspension, all-wheel drive, and the ability to operate in difficult terrain.

The company already produces Senator MRAP variants designed for troop transport, medical evacuation, police operations, and special missions. The new platform introduced in 2026 reinforces Roshel’s focus on modular and adaptable solutions for armed forces and security agencies.
