This unusual project emerged as an attempt to build a replica of the Koenigsegg Jesko, as few can afford the $3 million hypercar.

The construction took place in a small workshop in Vietnam, with impressive craftsmanship considering the limited use of equipment. It started with creating an aluminum frame covered in clay, which was then sculpted and transformed into fiberglass panels to form the body.

The chassis was built from scratch, including components such as bushings and suspension arms, all assembled without the testing infrastructure of a major manufacturer.

The car’s base came from a Toyota Camry from the 90s, purchased for just $100. While the Camry’s four-cylinder engine is much weaker than the Jesko’s 1,600-horsepower V8, the project remained true to its concept with a three-pedal manual transmission.

A curious detail is that, due to the engine and transmission’s rear position, the car has rear brakes mounted at the front, causing it to slide like a handbrake-equipped car when stopping.

Although the project lacks air conditioning, a sound system, or front brakes, it boasts an impressive look, featuring Koenigsegg-style doors and even a central exhaust. The video of the process, though showing the construction in a simple way, highlights the impressive craftsmanship involved.

Despite some limitations in comfort and functionality, this replica offers a unique experience for those who want to see a Koenigsegg without having to pay millions.
